Braiding and Braid Extensions
Goals:
Introduce the most common types of braiding including; basic 3 strand braid, french, cornrow, fishtail, rope and cornrow with extensions.
Objectives:
Upon completion of the lesson, the student will be able to:
1. Perform a client consultation with respect to hair braiding.
2. Explain how to prepare the hair for braiding.
3. Demonstrate the procedures for the invisible braid, rope braid, and fishtail braid.
4. Demonstrate the procedures for single braids, with and without extensions.
5. Demonstrate the procedures for cornrowing, with and without extensions.
